Founded in 2017 by the German musician Eugen Kohl (Donarhall, Sinister Downfall, Crypt Witch, Death Carrier and others) and the Ecuadorian singer David Freire (Morto, Amuleto de Calamidades, Derelenismo Occulere, Över) with in intention to create a form of melancholic-symphonic Black Metal. In the same year the debut album 'Paysages Nihilisme' was released. Immediately after this release both members started to work on the new album ‘Behind a Mask a Metaphor is Written’, continuing with the sombre and atmospheric tone. During this time Þórir (Nyss, Över, Sárr, Þ) from the UK joined as bass player. He was also responsible for mixing and mastering the album.
